'I am Theo Burdorf (formerly called Starrenburg and son of Jo Ringers who was the daughter of Theodoor Adriaan Ringers of Alkmaar). I am a cousin of Nicoline Heynekamp because her grandmother, Engelina Bijl-Ringers, was the sister of my grandfather, Theo Ringers. Hope that makes the relationship reasonably clear? The Burdorf name comes from my step-father, by the way- my father's name was Starrenburg.

We migrated from Alkmaar, Holland, to Adelaide, Australia, in 1953 but I now live with my wife Kate ( an Australian) in Noosa about 150 Km north of Brisbane, Queensland. We visited Nicoline about three months ago (see the attached photo), having finally found her address as she was a "lost relation" to us. It was so good to meet her at last and find out all about her side of the family. Your website has been particularly helpful. I had written a Ringers Family History and have since updated it to include more details on Bijl and Bakker.'
